About Us

Graeme Walker commenced in Scientific Sales in Western Australia in February 1978 with the Scientific Division of Ramsay Surgical, leaving for Watson Victor in 1980. In 1981, he returned to what was now CIG Medishield Ramsay for a further four years as a sales representative primarily for Shimadzu products.

Following this was seven years as the State Manager for Linbrook International. He commenced his own business full-time in 1991, and the current company, Walker Scientific Pty Ltd, was formed in January 1998.

The company has essentially operated as a sub-distributor for eastern states-based importers, such as Shimadzu, Orion Pacific, Rheology Solutions, OI Analytical, BMG Labtechnologies, and On Site Generating Solutions.

However, growth has occurred as a result of acquiring direct International Agencies for the Australia New Zealand market, such as Instech Solomon, KD Scientific, and as of October 2013, the company has been appointed the National Distributor for OI Analytical Instruments, now Xylem.

The company represents a broad range of instrumentation in the analytical, environmental, and life science areas and has extensive experience across most scientific instrumentation, with this experience spanning 47 years in the industry. Installations and sales of both small and major instrumentation extend throughout Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Asia.
